nyc cellulite
Am I fake for doing this?

I was overweight and like a shadow. When I came into some $, I started working out and eating better, and I had my hair professionally bleached and got blue contacts. My quasi-b/f says I look strange (Asian) and it’s fake.

*Why is it wrong for me to experiment a little?

I have also told my family, I want to get a mini extreme makeover. Though i lost weight, I still have cellulite, stretch marks, old acne scars, and some pockets of fat I can’t seem to get rid of. My mom also recommended I get eye lids (I have Asian eyes – common surgery in Asia, I think here it’s called somehing like Blephopaty?). ANYWAYS, everyone keeps saying it’s dangerous and vein.

I have felt inferior looking most of my life, what is wrong with minor surgery? My friends dad is surgeon in NYC and said most celebrities have had some work they just do slowly over time so you don’t notice. In fact, he said his biggest clients now are everyday Jane using credit card.

I think its very fake: you’re inadvertently trying to turn yourself into a Scandinavian woman!!! Blue eyes: unnatural. Blonde Hair: even more unnatural.
Try growing out the blonde and keeping your natural color. Perhaps get a super flattering cut instead of drastically dying your hair. Take out the contacts too. Asians are so pretty as they are, they don’t need to be changing themselves into white girls.
Be proud of your ethnicity, you aren’t a white girl!! So don’t turn yourself into one.

It also sounds like you have self esteem problems. You really should go to a therapist so that you can learn to cope with your new body (because things are different after you lose weight) and build your self esteem. It’s SO important that you do this, and you need to do this before you even consider doing plastic surgery because if you don’t you’ll still feel the same way after.
Don’t get that stupid eyelid surgery. Your mom is obviously one of those typical Asian Americans who aren’t proud of their ethnicity and culture. Its annoying really when Asians try to “american-ize” themselves..BE PROUD of your eyes.
Cellulite: can’t get rid of. Even skinny girls have it.
Stretch marks: try rubbing vitamin e oil on it and/or cocoa butter. I’ve heard that this works GREAT..its what pregnant women are recommended to do.
Fat: just keep working out. Wait another year and exercise a couple times a week, eat right, and hopefully by 2009 you could have an even better figure.

I can’t stop you from doing plastic surgery, but remember: you get what you pay for. If you find a cheap surgeon, you are muuuch more likely to have bad complications. Find the best surgeon you can..in the US.

I think waiting until 2009 is great because you could lose even more weight, see a therapist to get your esteem up, save up some money for a really good surgeon, and perhaps even save money because if you keep exercising and eating right you could lose some of that weight and not have to get as much done!! You might even find that by 2009 you don’t need the surgeries anymore!!
